Blockbuster performance coming to Maryborough

The Dunolly Theatre Companyʼs Rachel Buckley is excited to announce the coming of a blockbuster performance in Maryborough this weekend.

With some assistance from a State Government grant, the Dunolly Theatre Company is bringing a blockbuster performance to town.

With $3000 from the State Government’s Small Regional Presenters program and a little inside work from the Dunolly Theatre Company’s Rachel Buckley, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (The Bat) will be performed by the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Victoria this weekend.

Held at the Maryborough Town Hall, Ms Buckley said the performance is an exciting thing for the region and not to be missed.

“This is a well-known and popular show, it’s an exciting thing for not only the Dunolly Theatre Company or Maryborough, but for the district,” she said.

“The Maryborough Town Hall is the ideal venue for something like this, it’s large and in a central location.”

Tickets are $25 per person, with children under the age of 12 free. For more information or to reserve tickets, contact Rachel Buckley on 0427 275 006 or at [email protected]
