The highly anticipated battle between the only two undefeated teams of season 2019 will be played at Talbot on Sunday when the Hawks host ladder leaders Carisbrook.
Talbot collected a big scalp last round when it defeated Navarre at the Grasshoppers’ home ground.
The win was an outstanding victory as the Hawks gained revenge for Navarre knocking them out of last season’s finals series.
This week’s game will be Talbot’s toughest for the season as the reigning back-to-back premier has taken all before them.
Carisbrook now face a tough three games ahead of it against teams that are placed second, third and fourth on the ladder.
The Redbacks closest game so far this season was a 52-point victory over Harcourt and they are coming off a 144-point demolition of Newstead so will be full of confidence against a team that has not beaten them for more than 10 years.
