As the season draws closer to the half way point, a big game lays ahead for Lexton when it tackles Navarre this weekend.
This is a highly anticipated game with Navarre sitting at 4-3 and Lexton sitting just inside the top eight at 3-4.
Navarre has had the wood over Lexton in recent years and this is a great opportunity for the home side to get one back.
After losing its first four games in a row, Lexton have turned it around in the last three weeks, claiming wins over struggling sides Campbells Creek, Maryborough Rovers and Dunolly but are yet to claim a big scalp like Navarre.
Lexton’s Matt Brown, Justin Hobson and Steele Cox all showed good signs last week with their midfield starting to get going through the likes of Bryce Karslake, Todd Curran and Tom Cullinan.
