Carisbrook claimed an all too easy 36-goal win over Maldon on Saturday afternoon.
The Redbacks were fully stocked for their twilight game and used their wealth of talent to roll the Bombers with ease.
Taking an 11-4 lead into the first quarter break, Brook sat ahead largely due to inaccurate shooting at the Maldon post.
Carisbrook’s own accuracy improved in the second, with the pairing of Chrissy James and Paige
McLean missing just one goal between them for the entire term, stretching Brook’s lead to 14 by the main break.
The Redbacks added some fresh legs into their attack in the third, with Melissa Cornwill stepping into wing attack while Maldon moved newbie Taige Weir into the midcourt to add some defensive pressure.
Carisbrook really turned it on in the third term, adding 13 goals to its total to lead 39-18 with just one quarter to go.
