A Wareek garden will be transformed next week for the annual Save the Children morning tea event.
The fundraiser, run by the Maryborough branch of Save the Children, has been held in president Glenda Rowland’s pristine garden for around six years and is promising to once again be a great day out.
Last year the event attracted around 100 people and raised $2500 and Ms Rowland said she hopes to attract similar numbers this year.
“The morning tea is a great opportunity for people to meet up with friends they haven’t seen for a while. We hope everyone enjoys it,” she said.
“The garden is nice and spacious. It is difficult getting through summer but it always seems to come together.”
The morning tea will run from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, March 19 at 1016 Maryborough-St Arnaud Road, Wareek.
Entry is $10 per person and includes morning tea.
