The Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League (MCDFNL) has announced its new naming rights sponsor for the next three seasons.
The partnership between former naming rights sponsor, Bendigo Bank and the MCDFNL is the longest standing partnership held by the league with 11 years of involvement, eight of which saw Bendigo Bank as the league’s major sponsor.
Bendigo Bank will remain on board with the league as McDonald’s Maryborough has been named the major sponsor until the year 2021.
MCDFNL president Stephen Broad said the league is extremely grateful for all businesses who get behind the MCDFNL to help sustain local sport.
“Our league is very fortunate to have the support of so many wonderful sponsors and we can’t thank both McDonald’s Mary- borough and Bendigo Bank for continuing to support our growing community league,” Broad said.
“We want to thank the Bendigo Bank for the past eight years as our naming rights partner who will continue to support the league as a major partner forward.
“We’re really excited about the next three years with McDonald’s Maryborough and the benefits that the partnership will bring our member clubs.”
McDonald’s Maryborough is part of the Lamrit Group who are involved as sponsors for multiple AFL Goldfields league’s across Victoria.
AFL Goldfields commercial and regional operations manager Aaron Nunn said the MCDFNL will benefit greatly thanks to sponsorship from McDonald’s Maryborough.
