Pressure mounts for struggling Laane side as it prepares to face Creswick

Laanecoorie Dunollyʼs Nathan Nikolic fields his own bowling during the sideʼs successful clash with MKM during round three of one-day cricket.

After forfeiting its first two-dayer of the season, the pressure is on for Laanecoorie Dunolly to have a decent crack when it meets the Creswick Imperials this round.

Laane’s disapointing forfeit came as a result of player numbers, which is worrying for a side that was previously one of the strongest in the competition.

Laane managed one win in the one-day portion of the season, but that hasn’t kept the side off the bottom of the ladder.

Creswick currently sits two places above Laane on the ladder thanks to an extra win during the season.

The Imperials have put up a fight in past one-day rounds despite entering into the competition short staffed.
