After smashing out over 300 runs during the first half of round seven, Creswick had no trouble bagging a convincing 149-run victory over Laanecoorie Dunolly on Saturday.
The thrashing was not a surprise for Laane, which has struggled to keep its head above water this season.
Creswick made 340 all out in 67 overs during the first weekend of play.
Over a third of that score came from Joel Antonio who displayed impressive form, making 151 runs.
Laane took to the crease on Saturday with the daunting task of making up over 300 runs.
Liam Mottram and Nathan Leist took to the crease to open the innings, contributing a combined 28 runs before Mottram (11) was caught off an Antonio ball.
Leist continued his stint with bat in hand, outliving two more partners and contributing 36 runs.
Leist saw Laane’s score rise to 66 before he was caught out and replaced by Jackson Goodwin (13).
