MKM and Imperials searching for success after lacklustre one-day season

Creswickʼs Jason Jones bowls to MKMʼs Aaron Westbrook.

Both MKM and the Creswick Imperials have a lot to prove this Saturday, as the sides gun for success in two-day cricket after a dismal one-day half.

With both sides able to produce just one one-day win so far this season, to win the first two-dayer of the season and the last game of 2018 would be the boost both sides need ahead of 2019.

This weekend Mill will get the chance to continue its reply to the 147 runs Creswick was able to put up on Saturday.

Bryce Antonio, who was highly influential for the Knights with bat in hand, is sure to make an impact this weekend as one of the side’s most destructive bowlers.

Antonio has claimed nine wickets so far this season, three of which came from the start of MKM’s reply.

David Coxall was also handy on Saturday taking figures of 2/14.
