Creswick and MKM chasing wins after lack lustre one-day seasons

After a lack lustre one-day season for both sides, this Saturday’s clash between MKM and Creswick is a chance for either team to prove itself worthy of success during the 2018-19 season.

Ahead of the two-day season MKM sits in fifth position on the A grade ladder after winning just one game during the one-day season.

Fifth place on the ladder is where Mill has finished both its 2017-18 and 2016-17 seasons and with no changes to the side this season it seems unlikely that MKM will see much change in its ranking.

However, Mill does have some key players that have kept the side off the bottom of the ladder and could make victory in the two-day season possible.

Jason Sinclair has proved himself handy with the bat in hand, for the one-day season he is ranked as the eighth highest runscorer in the A grade competition.

Mill can also look pretty confidently to brothers Liam and Joel Radlof or opening bat Kieran Johns to deliver some runs.

Dion Hedger has taken nine of the sides 35 wickets for the one-day season while Jaxon Smyth has claimed six and Sinclair has taken five.
