Colts out to finish 2018 undefeated

Maryboroughʼs Richie Clark sends a delivery down the pitch during the Owlsʼ match against Colts Phelans at the weekend.

After keeping last season’s two-day premiers, Maryborough, to 183 runs at the weekend, Colts Phelans will now take to the pitch with bat in hand this Saturday to see if it can finish 2018 completely undefeated.

Colts are yet to drop a match all season, going undefeated in the one- day season and claiming the one-day cup just a few weeks ago.

Reigning two-day premiers Maryborough are sure to put up a fight on Saturday, determined to once again dominate the competition in two-day cricket.

Saturday will see the Colts try to outscore Maryborough’s score of 183 before the Owls claim too many wickets.

The Colts are sure to look to import James Copeland to provide some much needed runs in the reply.
