Clunes needed just 35 overs with the bat to claim a three-run victory over MKM in round one of the Maryborough District Cricket Association’s 2018-19 season.
After winning the toss, the visiting Magpies sent MKM in to bat first.
Liam Radlof and Kieran Johns had the honour of opening the Mills’ season and were successful in a 63- run stint before Radlof was excused by Brendan Robinson.

Former captain, Joel Radlof, stood in for his younger brother Liam while Nathan Koenig replaced Johns.
As a pair Joel Radlof and Koenig contributed 43 runs, leaving the Mill at 2/108 before Dylan Davies dismissed Radlof.
Captain of the side, Guy Cornwill fell victim to Allen with just one run, as did his successor Jason Sinclair.
Stevan Shovan was the most impactful alongside Koenig, with a 56-run union before Josh Henderson claimed Koenig at 40 runs.
Shovan was eventually bowled out on 28, after partnering with Jaxon Smyth who managed just two runs.
