Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) has announced the 2018-19 season allocations for the Loddon Highlands Water Supply Protection Area (WSPA) based on the August groundwater readings.
There are around 170 licensed groundwater users in the Loddon Highlands WSPA which extends from Newlyn, Learmonth and Waubra in the south to Maryborough and Dunolly in the north.
A maximum allocation of 100 percent has been announced for the Talbot, Waubra and Ullina management zones.
GMW customer operations general manager Scott Barber said allocations are determined in accordance with the Loddon Highlands Water Supply Protection Area Groundwater Management Plan, which was approved by the Minister for Water in November 2012.
