The Carisbrook Lady Redbacks have kept their top three placing on the ladder with a 37-point win over Bacchus Marsh at the weekend.
The Redbacks were more confident in front of goals than the Cobras and showed off their skills by bagging five goals in the first quarter alone.
The second term saw both sides take five shots at goal each but the Redbacks were more accurate off the boot and led Marsh 7.4 (46) to 1.6 (12) by the halftime break.
The third quarter saw Carisbrook drop off in accuracy in front of goal, booting just two goals but adding four behinds to the scoreboard.
The final quarter was the best for the Cobras as they held the ball down their scoring end and took seven shots at goal.
A final score of 10.8 (68) to 3.13 (31) gave Carisbrook their seventh win of the season and keeps the Redbacks in third place on the ladder.
Jess Kile led the goalkicking for the day with five majors, closely followed by co-coach Holly Beavis on four, while Kristy McInnes and Shania Oliver grabbed one apiece.
Jess Kile, Holly Beavis, Sophie Beavis, Laura Donegan, Britney Oliver and Quetta Holloway-Jinks were among the best for the Redbacks.
