The Daughters of the West free women’s health program is coming to Maryborough for the first time this month.
The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and Gordon Legal in partnership with the Maryborough District Health Service will be bringing the 10-week health program to Maryborough.
The Daughters of the West program is designed to help encourage women to live healthy and active lives.
The program has been launched after the success of the Bulldogs’ Sons of the West program which visited Maryborough last year.
During the 10 weeks, the program aims to bring women in the community together with a range of health experts to discuss nutrition, mental health, respectful relationships, physical activity and medical screenings.
The program will run Monday nights from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Maryborough Education Centre starting on July 16 and registration is essential as places are limited.
To register visit www.event brite.com.au and search for ‘Daughters of the West 2018’ making sure to select the program in Maryborough.
