Former AFL player Russell Robertson will pull on the boots this Saturday for the Dunolly Football Netball Club.
Robertson played for the Melbourne Football Club from 1997- 2009 and was best known for taking spectacular marks and his goalkicking abilities.
After retiring from professional football, Robertson has since gone on to follow his passion for music and will perform this Saturday at the Dunolly Town Hall.
DFNC president and senior coach, Phil Hawkes said the club is looking forward to having Robertson perform and play for the club.
“It’s a big opportunity to have someone like Russell bring his experience to the game. I’m sure with his presence some of our players will step up,” Hawkes said.
