Minister for Regional Development Jaala Pulford had the opportunity to see first- hand the benefits of Go Goldfields last week, meeting with participants of the program.
During a visit to the shire on Wednesday, Ms Pulford met with Go Goldfields participants and staff to see the impact the Andrews Labor Government’s $2 million funding, which the program received in 2015, has made.
“We’re proud to support Go Goldfields address complex issues faced by vulnerable children, young people and families in Central Goldfields Shire,” Ms Pulford said.
“Speaking with Go Goldfields participants, I am pleased to hear of the positive impact the program initiatives have had on their lives.”
Go Goldfields is an alliance of agencies working together to deliver community-driven approaches to improve the health, education and social outcomes for children, youth and families in the Central Goldfields Shire.
