The Colts Phelans Cricket Club will be encouraging its young cricketers with new training equipment thanks to a $2000 grant from the Commonwealth Bank.
The funding is the second instalment from the CommBank Cricket Club Sponsorship program, which delivers $2000 twice over two years to participating cricket clubs across Australia.
It provides funding and new equipment for training and matches, opens up new opportunities for players and helps bring more local, multicultural, indigenous, people with disability and elite female players into clubs and into the limelight.
Commonwealth bank relieving branch manager Michael Jennings presented Colts with the cheque at Hedges Oval.
