Maryborough’s promotion of junior players into senior grade netball appears to be paying dividends with Keely Hare selected in the Bendigo Football Netball League’s under 17 netball interleague side.
Hare was this week named in the 10 member squad that was finalised following two tryouts.
The squad includes representatives from six BFNL clubs, with Hare the only representative from Maryborough.
Maryborough’s A grade coach Anika Munn said Hare was deserving of the selection and praised the junior’s ability.
“Keely is a fantastic up and coming talent and it’s a great effort to be selected,” she said.
