V/Line’s vehicles open to public to try before they ride

Locals in Maryborough will get a taste of travelling on public transport at the first Try Before you Ride event this week.

A VLocity train, V/Line coach and low-floor buses will be at Maryborough Station tomorrow for people to practice how to board safely and use aids and ramps.

Parents with children, passengers who use wheelchairs or mobility users as well as regular passengers are invited to come along.

V/Line staff and drivers will also be available to answer any questions about how to make travel safer on buses and trains.

The Try Before You Ride event will be held tomorrow between 11 am and 2 pm at the Maryborough Railway Station.
