Anzac win for Trentham

Trentham has recorded a thrilling nine point victory over Maryborough Rovers in the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League’s first stand-alone Anzac Day fixture.

In what was also the first match played under new lighting infrastructure at Trentham Recreation Reserve, the Saints held off a fast finishing Rovers outfit to win by nine points.

Clayton Scoble was inspirational in his side’s first win of the season with the Trentham coach finishing with five goals in a best on ground performance.
