Maryborough seasoned campaigner, Jody Thomson, smashed the Colts Phelans bowlers to all parts of Princes Park on Saturday as he amassed an unbeaten 151 and helped push the total up to 8/332 in round eight of the Maryborough and District Cricket Association.

Early in the day, the Colts bowlers had done a good job with the ‘Borough teetering at 3/34 with both Marc Cassidy (17) and Marshall Bell (16) back in the grandstand.

However, Tyson Macilwain (33) and Thomson added 49 runs for the fourth wicket and then Martin Dell (22) and Thomson put on 57 for the fifth wicket.
