Someone in Maryborough is walking around $1.5 million richer thanks to Saturday night’s Tattslotto draw.
The person purchased the winning ticket at Maryborough News Express and Tattslotto and was one of 13 winners to share in the $20 million super draw.
It is the first division one ticket sold by Ross and Cheryl Forster, who took over the business last year.
The outlet has sold a total of 28 division one winning tickets.
Cheryl said she was “over the moon” after finding out they had sold a winning ticket.
The business has sold a number of division two winning tickets, but Cheryl said it was nice to get the top one.
“It’s pretty exciting,” she said.
“The winner rang me up to let me know.”
Four of the 13 winning tickets from Saturday night’s super draw were from Victoria, including Echuca, Taylors Lakes, a store syndicate from Heidelberg and the local winning entry.
