Business community to award the best in business

The awards made a welcome return after a four year break in 2007, and are a biennial event.

Cemetery theft branded . . Lowest Act possible

The thieves broke in to a shed at the cemetery over the weekend and stole an assortment of power tools and machinery, including lawnmowers, a whipper snipper, water pump, chainsaw, drills and more, with a combined total in excess of $5000, as well as the keys to a small truck and a loader.
Legislation changes a good result for Clubs

In those days, there was no work cover, and no assistance for the widows of men who died at their work and were left to make a living for themselves and their children.
