After 11 rounds of matches in the Maryborough Squash Club winter pennant, Scorpions, with 30 points, still remain in front of their nearest opponent, Bees which are second with 26 points.

It was grand final night at the Maryborough Squash Club on Monday evening and resulted in a decisive win for Rome against Paris.

Alfa Romeo (Graham West, Rob Hurse, Jon Gray, Keith Burfoot and Ben Jordan) caused a major upset in the grand final of the Maryborough Squash Club, defeating top side Ferrari (Shane Miller, Gail Oliver, Yvonne Sluce, Alene Prinz and Michael Wilson) four rubbers to one.

There was an excellent turn out for the Maryborough Squash Club’s annual championships.

There was the men’s section, ladies’ section and junior section.
