Creswick has crushed defend- ing champions Maryborough by a massive 195 runs to claim the MDCA A reserve premiership.

After it was sent in to bat by the Owls, Creswick’s openers got the Imperials off to a strong start before Pearce Antonio fell to the bowling of Troy Hubble for 16.

The wicket triggered a mini collapse as Mathew Longridge fell to Jake Postle for eight before Postle again struck, bowling the com- petition’s MVP, Jason Jones for just two.

Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals as Nick Hoban removed Dale Chalmers for just three before Ricky McMahon had Darren Mitchell caught for four.
