Royal Park continue on their winning way in the Bendigo Bank Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League as they handed Campbells Creek a football lesson at Hedges Oval on Saturday.

In a game that was billed as the match of round three, the game lived up to expectations in the opening term with ferocious tackling pressure being applied by both teams.

Royal Park had the majority of play but were wasting their opportunities around the goal mouth while Campbells Creek were far more efficient as Joel Smith slotted three goals in the opening term, and brother Sean kicked a goal late in the term to be just two points behind the Tigers at the siren.

It was at this point that Royal Park took control and ran away with the game.
